I did not come in there expecting to beat everybody. Just follow your heart, do the best job you can, and you will never be disappointed. I've learned over the years to never have expectations. I just feel like when you have these expectations and they don't meet up, then you're let down. There was more of a competitiveness to it, I guess.
Back then, when girls got onto "Drag Race," it was more of a pageant mentality or queens who were in drag a little bit longer than others. I think when I was doing Season 2, I was so used to you (thinking) you either did drag 'cause it was fun or you were a pageant girl 'cause you wanted to compete in it. I never get ahead of myself, and that's one thing that changed from Season 2 to this season. When you walked back into the Werk Room, were you fully confident you'd make it this far? You're not gonna do nothin' with that." It's just kinda like, "Oh, really?" Look what can happen if you just believe in yourself and you put the work into it. What I think about is it's just really exciting to excel at something that you really love and that you're passionate about and to have RuPaul, who is the one that did not have "Drag Race" but did all of these things that we all wanna do, to have her share her experiences and create a platform for other people to live their dreams, their queer dreams, it just feels so good, you know? To get that far, it just feels like all those people that said, "Oh, you should stop doing drag. Nevermind winning, I imagine just making the top four has unique meaning for you. The new "Drag Race" Hall of Famer talked about her transformation, her love of Dolly and growing up listening to Selena. And she gave us a "Dirrrty" lip sync to remember against Manila Luzon. RUPAUL ALL STARS 6 SERIES
(The flagship “Drag Race” series continues to air on VH1.) The season also stands as the biggest “All Stars” season yet, with 13 queens having returned to vie for the $100,000 prize. “All Stars” Season 6 marked the first season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” to run exclusively on Paramount+, another jump for the franchise, which has previously lived on VH1 and Logo. She originally competed on Season 2 under the name Sonique. With her win, Kylie also becomes the show’s first transgender winner.
By the end of the episode, Kylie was crowned the season’s winner, joining Chad Michaels, Alaska, Trixie Mattel, Monét X Change, Trinity the Tuck and Shea Couleé in the “Drag Race Hall of Fame.”
